FORGIVENESS

BIBLE STUDY LESSON

TITLE: FORGIVENESS
READING: MATTHEW 6:12 | 2 CHRONICLES 7:14 | ACTS 26:18 | EPHESIANS 4:32
BONUS: DUETERONOMY 32:35

In this reading will study the act and
the responsibility of Forgiveness.

As people of God,
the hardest thing for us to do is forgive.
But Forgiveness is one of the tools
that separate us from the evil ones.

When we signed up to walk with God,
Forgiveness is in the terms and conditions.
We must forgive on God’s terms
even in worldly conditions.

MATTHEW 6:12
Tells us that Forgiveness is not an option,
it is a requirement in the Lord’s Prayer.
We want God to forgive us,
but we must start to forgive others.

We must not forget,
that everyone must forgive
but everyone can’t forgive.
Because,
there are requirements to forgiving.

2 CHRONICLES 7:14
Shows us the requirements of forgiveness.

The first requirement is to look within
so we will have the ability to forgive.

We have some family members;
some business partners and
we have some church members
that we must forgive.

You see, when we forgive,
it strengthens our Sanctification
and brings us closer to our Salvation.

Now, I know
that there are some actions
that are hard to forgive.

But there are actions
that we can take towards Forgiveness.

ACTS 26:18
Shows us the actions that we must take.
#1: Open our eyes
#2: Turn from darkness to the light
#3: We may receive forgiveness
#4: Inherit being sanctified by faith

It’s a responsibility
to take these necessary steps in forgiveness.
Let us not forget,
that with great responsibility,
comes great reward.

But before the reward comes self-control.
Control back over your life,
control back over your feelings
and control back over your soul.

EPHESIANS 4:32
Shows us the humility in Forgiveness.

You see,
when it has been forgave,
we must behave.

Don’t worry about the get-back
because God got that.

+ BONUS:

DUETERONOMY 32:35
Tells us that God created karma
and God controls karma.

The verse ends with letting us know
that God’s vengeance comes with hast.

So, when God has his hands on it,
karma comes quick.
Our job is to forgive and live.
Amen.  #GloryToGod
