BIBLE STUDY LESSON
TITLE: GOD’S TASK
(Understanding The Assignment)
READING: ECCLESIASTES 1:13 | ECCLESIASTES 1:15 | ECCLESIASTES 3:1-8 | 1 THESSOLENIANS 1:15
BONUS: MARK 16:20
In this reading will study understanding the assignment of God’s Task.
When I started high school,
I had a 1-7.
That was a schedule of
7 different classes, with
7 different teachers.
Each teacher had an assignment for me.
And in each subject, I was tested.
But the better I understood the assignment,
the better I did on the test.
In life, everybody has an assignment,
but we need an alignment
to hear the task
that God has for us.
How do we get aligned?
ECCLESIASTES 1:13
Tells us the steps of alignment:
#1: Set your heart
(We must set our hearts on God,
so, God can start the preparation within.)
#2: Seek and search
(We must seek out tasks from God,
then we must search for the knowledge
for the next task.)
#3: Is to understand that it is a task from God.
(When we know that it is from God,
then we do the task with God in it.)
When I became a senior, I had a 1-4
because I was getting close to the end,
I only had to focus on a few subjects.
But the key thing
that I learned in high school
that I brought into my adulthood
is knowing that
Because I had fewer task,
doesn’t me I could slack.
I understood that I had greater task.
ECCLESIASTES 1:15
1st Part, tells us that some people
are going to make mistakes.
And we can’t fix those mistakes,
because through those mistakes,
God brings forgiveness, mercy and grace.
2nd Part, tells us that
if we are lacking in our task,
our task will be counted.
Everybody has task,
even though I might understand your task,
it is your assignment.
ECCLESIATES 3:1-8
Tells us that it is time for everything.
So, when we are doing God’s task,
let us take our time and
do it in God’s time.
Now that we understand the assignment.
How do we do God’s task?
We need assurance,
not the insurance that we get from man,
but the full coverage that we get from God.
1 THESSALONIANS 1:5
Tells us that there are going to be greater task
sent by God that we won’t know how to do.
But if a task is sent by God,
the Holy Spirit will guide us.
If you are just starting out in your Faith,
you are a freshman in your spirit,
and you will be tested on more subjects.
So, if you feel attacked in your task,
just know it’s like Freshman Friday
people will be your first test.
But trust in God’s plan,
it’s preparing you for your next task.
+ BONUS:
MARK 16:20
Tells us when we do a task from God
He is working with us because
we understood the assignment.
Amen. #GloryToGod
