READING: GENESIS 1:1-2 | MALACHI 4:4-6 | GALATIANS 2:15-16 | 2 PETER 1:4

In this reading will study the
difference between living in
Human Nature vs. Spiritual Nature.

The best way to study this is
by looking at as
Old Testament vs. New Testament.

GENESIS 1:1-2
Everything that we need
to be equipped in this world
is in the Old Testament.
But the Old Testament is
filled with Human Nature.

From Adam + Eve, to Cain + Able,
from Moses and the promise land,
to the story of Samson,
even the powerful Pharaohs,
all had Human Nature.

But, if God created
humans and nature,
how can we tell Him
it’s just Human Nature.?

Tell us that the time is coming
where our Human Nature
isn’t going to be sufficient.

MALACHI 4:4-6
Displays grace, mercy and peace.

God tells us to keep
the laws of Moses,
giving us Grace in our faith.

Mercy will be received
when the Prophet Elijah comes
in the next chapter.

If we let God control our heart
we will have Peace.

The final warning
in the Old Testament
tells us that the earth is in jeopardy
if we stay in our Human Nature.

The book of Matthew,
(which is the first book of
the New Testament)

brings in a new set of rules
that are still attached to
the original laws of Moses.

Because, before when we sinned
we could say it’s just our
Human Nature, or it’s just me,
or this is how I am, or
I was born this way.

GALATIONS 2:15-16
Tells us what our nature should be.

Because Jesus was sent,
we have an example of
walking in a Spiritual Nature.

Now we are Justified by God
through the standards of Jesus.

2 PETER 1:4
Tells us that it is peace
in the promise for us.
Even thought, people will start
to look at us crazy…

Because, instead of Pride,
we will choose Grace.

Instead of War,
we will choose Mercy.

Instead of Confusion,
we will choose Peace.

And when they ask us why?
Tell them that it’s a
Spiritual Nature.

Tells us that mindset is key
when we are going from
a Human Nature,
to a Spiritual Nature.
Amen. #GloryToGod
