READING: JOHN 14:15 | EXODUS 20:2-17 | DEUTERONOMY 5:6-12

In this reading we’ll study God’s Ten Commandments.

Last week, we studied
the 10 Plagues
sent to Egypt by God.
Showing us that God will equip us
for any mission that He has for us.

When God gives us an assignment,
God gives us authority
over the assignment.
But there are times,
God will step in and take authority.

The Bible is
Basic Instructions
Before Leaving Earth,
but the Ten Commandments
are the cheat codes of life.

Once we repent for our sin,
we are not judged by our sins,
(Because Jesus paid for our sins)
but we are judged by the way
we keep God’s commandments.
This is the measurement of the heart.

JOHN 14:15
To show our love
for our God,
He wants us to keep
His commandments.

In the game of life,
the plagues came before the commandments
because they were

a result of us
operating on
free play mode,
but now that God has missions for us
we must follow
different guidelines.

EXODUS 20:2-17

#1: No other God before me.
(Don’t follow idols)
#2: No graven images.
(Don’t make yourself an idol)
#3: Do not take the Lord’s name in vain.
(God name is powerful)
#4: Remember the Sabbath Day.
(Always take a day of rest
and keep it clean.)

#5: Honor thy father and mother.
#6: Do not kill
#7: Don’t commit adultery.
#8: Don’t steal.
#9: Don’t lie.
#10: Don’t take your
neighbor’s wife or things.
(Trust in what the Lord has for you.)

EXODUS 20:6
Shows us the mercy from God
because of keeping His commandments.

GTA: God Takes Authority
God has snatched us
out of our sin,
and drove off in it,
so we don’t have to
ride in it anymore.

Because our sin has become like a Tesla,
on autopilot and
driving our lives.

But we still want to
look for the sin,
instead of rejoicing
for having
God’s full coverage.

When God Takes Authority,
it’s 2 things that must happen:
#1: We must reset the mission.
(This will bring sanctification)

#2: We must clean our drive so,
God can download our upgrade.
(This will bring regeneration)

Is the Gospel of God’s Commandments,
after you read it in Exodus,
you must read it in Deuteronomy after.

LEVITICUS 26:14-16
Is God’s final warning
if we do not keep
His commandments.

This also show us
that we are living
in plagued times.

As we go into
a new week, let us keep
God’s commandments
so we don’t
plague ourselves.
