INDEPENDENCE

BIBLE STUDY LESSON

TITLE: INDEPENDENCE
READING: GALATIANS 5:1 | 2 CHRONICLES 15:3 | 1 CORITHIANS 11:11 | ROMANS 1:11-12
BONUS: 1 CORINTHIANS 12:4-11

In this reading will study being Independent for ourselves versus having Independence gifted from God.

In the last lesson,
we learned of the Holy City
brought down from Heaven,
that had (3) Pearl Gates
at each entrance,
in each direction.
Independent gates
working collective
to make a way.

This is how our walk
with God should be.
Mastering individual endeavors
for the good of the collective.

INDEPENDENT
The definition of independent
is being free from control.

GALATIANS 5:1
Tells us that our freedom
in spirit is a gift from God.

This is the process of
breaking the yoke,
so God can create a new yoke
in us and around us.

In order,
for us to receive our
independence from God,
we must ask ourselves
(2) questions;

#1: What are you willing to do to get it?
Fight or Flight?
If we fight, we can take flight.

#2: What are we going to do with it?
Will we use it for self-elevation
or self-destruction

Be cautious,
there are limitations
to being independent.

2 CHRONICLES 15:3
Warns us of the dangers
of being independent
without God.

It will lead to the question of:
Are we so independent,
that we don’t need God?

1 CORINTHIANS 11:11
Warns us of the pride
of being too independent.

Giving us the mentality of:
“I don’t need a Man” or
“I don’t need a Woman”
but this is a dark illusion.

This mentality will curse us,
and cause us to stop bearing fruit.

INDEPENDENCE
Independence is a state
of being independent.

Before we were just
doing what we want,
or doing things our way.
But now we have a structure
for doing things on our own.

ROMANS 1:11-12
When we receive
Independence from God
we will receive spiritual gift
to establish and sustain
our Independence.

The spiritual goal is:
To get it, keep it and use it.
This is how we will sustain it.

+ BONUS:
1 CORITHIANS 12:4-11
Tells us what spiritual gifts are.

1 CORITHIANS 12:1
Starts off by telling us
not to be ignorant
to spiritual gifts,
understanding that they are
God’s gift for God’s works.

1 CORITHIANS 12:4-6
Are key verses,
they are the guidelines
to our spiritual gifts.

SPIRITUAL GIFTS:
Manifestation | Wisdom | Knowledge | Faith | Healing | Miracles | Prophecy | Discernment | Speaking of Tongues | Interpreting Tongues

Manifestation is a gift for all.

Wisdom and Knowledge
are similar but not the same.
Wisdom is something that
is acquired over time,
Knowledge can be gained instantly.

Faith is the fizz our soul,
letting us know that God is real.

Healing and Miracles
are similar but not the same.
These are separate gifts because
each requires an independent host.

When one of us
receives a Prophecy
One of us must show
Discernment in the spirit.

When one of is
speaking in tongues,
one of must interpret
the tongues.

You see,
all of these are
independent gifts,
working together for
the independence of
the Kingdom of God.

Now, that we understand
true Independence,
now we can go be
Independent for God.
Amen. #GloryToGod
