BIBLE STUDY LESSON
READING: LEVITICUS 16:22 | PROVERBS 27:26 | NUMBERS 7:2 | NUMBERS 7:87
BONUS: MATTHEW 25:31-34 | REVELATION 22:1
In this reading we will study the lamb vs. the goat.
Do you want to be a Lamb of God,
or a goat of the world?
They say the goat represents
the greatest of all times,
but where does the greatness lie?
Aside from the pride,
greed and destruction
that comes with the pursuit
of being a goat.
How can everybody be the one,
when there can only be one?
The title of the goat,
is a solo title,
but, because of this
contradiction that lies in many,
we have many goats.
What is a goat?
LEVITICUS 16:22
Shows us that the goat
will bear all our iniquities.
Why?
PROVERBS 27:26
Show us that
the lamb is for clothing,
and the goat is for
the price of the land.
How can you be
the greatest of all times,
when you don’t have all the time?
Everyone is numbered because
everyone’s days are numbered.
NUMBERS 7:2
Tells us to look at by the numbers.
God is 1st
because God is the 1.
12 for 12
After the alter was built,
each day, for the next 12 days
a goat was sacrificed
for each tribe’s sins.
Showing us that the goat
is full of sins in verses:
16 | 22 | 28 | 34 | 40 | 46 |
52 | 58 | 64 | 70 | 76 | and 82.
NUMBERS 7:87
Shows us that they took
the kids of the goats.
Asking us:
will we sacrifice our kids
to be the goats of the world?
Muhammad Ali
was the greatest of his time
until he got old
and couldn’t hold a torch.
Passing down his attitude
to his daughter
who would follow
in his footsteps.
(This turned out good!)
The Pharaoh Raamses
was the greatest of his time
but his pride and greed
costed him his first born.
MATTHEW 25:31-34
We must have sanctification,
sheep on the right,
and goats on the left.
God tells us to
“Feed My Sheep”
because they will
inherit the kingdom.
If you read the rest of this chapter,
you will see the complete
sanctification by God
between the lamb and the goat.
REVELATION 22:1
Tells us to follow the Lamb.
Look at the characteristic
of both animals:
The Lamb is humble and gentle,
the goat is loud and destructive.
Plus, the goat will eat anything.
As we go into a new week,
let us not focus on
being a goat
but being a Lamb of Hope.
Amen #GloryToGod
