BIBLE STUDY LESSON
TITLE: GOD’S POWER
READING: PSALM 62:11-12 | MATTHEW 9:6 | MATTHEW 6:13 | REVELATION 4:9-11
BONUS: MATTHEW 17:20-21
In this reading we will study God’s Power
around us and inside of us.
There are attacks on Power Stations around the nation.
There is also an attack on our power by the enemy.
But God is power,
and the power comes from God.
PSALM 62:11-12
Shows us that the Power belongs to God.
It also shows us that Mercy belongs to God.
There is power in God’s mercy.
When we show someone mercy,
it is a gift from God, carried out through us.
“He renders to each one according to his works”
Reminding us that:
“Faith without works is dead”
WE MUST KNOW GOD’S POWER
No Work = No Power,
dead faith is the same as a dead battery.
MATTHEW 9:6
Show us that:
WE MUST STAND ON GOD’S POWER.
If not, our lives will be in paralysis,
but even when we think we are stuck,
God will tell us: Get Up and Move!
which is a power we can stand on.
Where do we find God’s power?
The Lord’s Prayer is found in Matthew 6:9-13,
and in it is where we will find God’s Power.
MATTHEW 6:13
“For Yours is the kingdom and the Power”
Now, to fully understand God’s Power
we must understand God’s Kingdom.
REVELATION 4:9-11
Shows us how powerful God’s kingdom is,
and how we are connected to God’s power.
God gives us power through
Grace, Mercy and Peace.
We give God power when we
give Him Glory, Honor and Thanks.
The best part is,
God has made us with His power in us.
In a form of residual spirit and power
coming from and unlimited supply.
Because when we feel like
we don’t enough power,
God is our spark plug.
God is our reliable source,
don’t be fooled by demigods.
They have “God” in their name
but GOD isn’t their title.
BONUS:
MATTHEW 17:20-21
Shows us that Faith of a Musterseed,
can summon God’s Power.
Our Power is in our
Praying + Fasting.
“Make haste to pray”
So, as we go into a new week,
let us stand on the Power of God,
and not ours or a demigod. Amen
