BIBLE STUDY LESSON
TITLE: GLORY TO GOD
READING: LUKE 2:14 | MATTHEW 5:16 |
PSALMS 135:5 | PHILLIPIANS 3:20-21
Today we study how to give Glory to God!
Where does it start?
LUKE 2:14
Tells us to give Glory to God.
This is an Angel’s Prayer,
showing us that we
don’t have to be Angels
to pray like an Angel.
This comes from
when Jesus was born
and Angels said this prayer
in a specific way:
* Glory to God in the highest.
(We must give God glory
in the highest manner
and the highest form.)
This is when we use Hallelujah.
* Asking for Peace on Earth.
(This is claiming God’s Glory
knowing He will be victorious.)
* Goodwill towards man.
(God’s mercy will bring His glory)
This is standing on God’s glory.
This was during a time when
everyone was being counted,
this is important to us
because we are going into
a Counting Season.
* We must make the Glory count.
(Every time we give Him, His glory,
we make a deposit into our spirit.)
* We must make sure the count is right.
(Taking accountability that the things
we make count, are thing that are right.)
Because there are some things
that we have been counting on,
but in this new season,
we must count it out.
How do we make it count?
MATTHEW 5:16
When your light shines,
God’s glory shines.
To glorify, is to multiply His Glory.
The more we glorify Him,
the more he pours into us.
God’s Glory is unlimited,
so we must give Him
glory to infinity.
PSALM 145:5
God’s Glory will be shown
through His glorious works.
So, we must remember
that the power come from God,
so the glory goes to God;
This is our infinity symbol.
(Which is Our Faith)
This is the 1st part,
of 2-part process.
PHILLIPIANS 3:20-21
Glorious Works will lead to
a Glorious Testimony and
God’s Glorious Promise.
You see,
God gets the credit,
be we received the reward.
God let us get the reward
because that how
His works is shown.
This is the things
that are not of you,
but are on you.
So, as we go into a new week,
let us not focus on the crowd
but focus on giving
Glory To God.
